|
Qantas Airways will be boosting capacity on its Perth-Darwin and Adelaide-Darwin routes from mid-June, the airline says. Services are usually increased for the Northern Territory dry season, but this year the increase will be bigger than usual. The Darwin-Perth route will be boosted by three return flights per week, taking the total to 10, while return services from Adelaide will also be increased from seven to 10. The additional services will add options to the current daily flight roster, according to Qantas' Regional General Manager Western Australia, Ian Gay, who said of the Perth services: 'these three extra weekday services will offer flexibility for business and leisure travellers.' The additional Perth flights will be on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, the peak business travel days. The Adelaide flights will operate on Tuesday and Thursday, with the extra flight operating Darwin-Adelaide on Saturday, returning on Sunday. |
